Meet the New Yellowstone Season 5 Cast Members

Yellowstone fans rejoice as season five will be here soon. The upcoming season will bring some new faces to the show.

The new Yellowstone season 5 cast members include Kai Caster, Lainey Wilson, Dawn Olivieri, and Lilli Kay. In addition to the new cast, Mo Brings Plenty, who plays Mo, and Wendy Moniz, who plays Governor Lynelle Perry, have been promoted to series regulars.

John Lucas will also return to reprise his role as young John Dutton. Jacki Weaver will also be coming back as Caroline Warner, as well as Kylie Rogers as young Beth Dutton, and Kyle Red Silverstein as young Rip Wheeler.

Kai Caster as Rowdy

Actor Kai Caster plays Rowdy on Yellowstone, a young cowboy new to town. Caster is best known for his role as William Banks in American Horror Story (2018).

Caster has also appeared in The Baxters (2019-2021) as Dirk Bennett, A Girl Name Jo (2019) as Henry Fitzroy / Jimmy Fitzroy, and House of Lives (2012) as Caleb. He has also had appearances in many shows including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2011), New Girl (2013), and Shameless (2014)

Lainey Wilson as Abby

Lainey Wilson plays Abby on Yellowstone, a musician. In real life, Wilson is an American country music singer and songwriter.

After moving to Nashville, Wilson released her first album in 2014. To date, she has released four albums: Lainey Wilson (2014), Tougher (2016), Sayin’ What I’m Thinkin’ (2021), and Bell Bottom Country (2022).

In 2021, Wilson won the Academy of Country Music Awards New Female Artist of the Year and Song of the Year – “Things a Man Oughta Know” awards.

Wilson’s role as Abby on Yellowstone will be her first acting credit.

Lilli Kay as Clara Brewer

Lilli Kay will take on the role of Clara Brewer, a new assistant to one of the Duttons. As to which Dutton she is assisting is unclear.

Kay is best known for her roles in Your Honor (2020-2022) as Fia Baxter, Madam Secretary

(2019) as Ruby Bragg and Chambers (2019) as Penelope Fowler. She is the sister of actress and ballet dancer Julia Goldani Telles.

Dawn Olivieri as Sarah Atwood

Dawn Olivieri will play Sarah Atwood, a “corporate shark” and a newcomer to Montana. Those who are fans of 1883 will recognize Olivieri as the overbearing Claire Dutton.

Olivieri is best known for her role in Heroes (2009-2010) as Lydia and in House of Lies (2012-2016) as Monica Talbot. She has also starred in a variety of roles including The Vampire Diaries (2011), The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (2010-2012), Secrets and Lies (2016), and The Hot Zone (2021).
