American tourist Liz Hicks had the ride of her life as she got lost on horseback in the Mexican Jungle while drunk.
The 21-year-old’s wild experience went viral after she posted videos on TikTok documenting her drunken horse riding adventure.
Hicks, who appeared concerned in the video, revealed she had nowhere she was going or how she got there.
Since she doesn’t speak Spanish there was no way for her to ask the locals for help.
Unsure of what to do, she turned to the video-sharing app, letting her followers know that she was ‘currently in the jungle in Mexico somewhere’.

A Wild Drunken Ride In The Amazon
In the video, Hicks is following two young children on a horse. The kids appear to be talking to her, but she has no idea what they are saying since she doesn’t understand Spanish.
“I don’t speak Spanish and I’m on a horse and I got drunk and I don’t know how I got here and no one around me speaks my language so they don’t know what I’m saying”, Hick told her followers.
“I don’t know where I’m going, I just know I’m on a horse”, added the TikToker.
In a second video, Hicks appears calmer but is still lost. She explains that she got separated from the rest of the group and is just going where her horse takes her.
Hicks’ epic ride was filmed near Yelapa, a beach town in Cabo Corrientes, which is located in the Mexican state of Jalisco.
What should’ve been a scenic ride through the jungle ended up being a drunk journey to reunite with the rest of the trail riders.
Liz Hicks Returns Safe and Sound
What could’ve ended in disaster, fortunately, ended on a good note for the TikTok user? Hicks arrived at her hotel ‘alive and well’ after what could’ve been a risky situation.
In a third clip, Hicks explained to TikTok that she was fine. Luckily, even though she didn’t know what to do, her horse did.
“The issue with the horse was, I was lost but the horse wasn’t lost… the horse knew where it was going, apparently, because it took me to this waterfall,” said Hicks.
Hicks said that the reason she got lost was that her horse was in front and kept on going faster than the others.
She went on to explain that her phone had died, which is why she had to wait until the next day to say she got to the hotel safely.
Fortunately, Hick’s horse led her back to safety after what was an eventful ride through the Mexican jungle.
Despite getting lost while drunk on horseback, it appears the American tourist was still able to enjoy her vacation to Mexico.
