Dan Jenkins was a land developer first introduced in season one of Yellowstone. Played by actor Danny Huston, Dan Jenkins wanted to build a new casino and hotel in Paradise Valley, against the wishes of the Duttons.

For seasons one and two, Dan Jenkins was an antagonist in Yellowstone. His plans to build on land next to Yellowstone Dutton Ranch made him an enemy to John Dutton.
While both John Dutton and Thomas Rainwater disagreed with Dan’s original plans, Rainwater saw an opportunity with Dan. Together, Dan and Rainwater made plans to build a new casino and hotel.
Dan’s real estate plans were cut short, however, as he was met with an untimely death. It wasn’t the Dutton behind his death but instead the scathing Beck brothers who had their own plans of what should become of the land.

Acting Runs in His Family
Danny Huston comes from a family of actors. His father, John Huston, was an American film director, screenwriter, actor and visual artist. His mother, Zoe Sallis, was an Indian-born British actress.
Danny’s father and mother met while filming The Bible: In the Beginning… and began a relationship together. At the time of their romance, John was married to American model Enrica Soma. John and Zoe had Danny as a result of their affair.
Danny is also the half-brother of actors Tony Huston and Angelica Huston. In addition to being an actor, Tony is also a writer and assistant director. Angelica Huston is best known for her roles in Prizzi’s Honor (1985), The Witches (1990), The Addams Family (1991) and Ever After (1998).

Kevin Costner and Danny Huston starred side by side in Yellowstone as enemies. Now, Huston is joining his Yellowstone co-star in Costner’s upcoming film Horizon.
Horizon is set to be an Epic Western with the backdrop of the film being pre and post-Civil War in America. Costner serves as the film’s producer and director, while also starring in the movie as well.
Along with Huston and Costner, Yellowstone star Will Patton, who plays Garrett Randall, will also be joining the cast of Horizon. Horizon is currently filming in Utah and the premise is set to have four films.
